Arsenal stars have returned from international duty to London Colney this week to ramp up the club’s preparations for their return to Premier League action on Saturday.
The Gunners head north, way north, to take on Newcastle United in the evening kickoff, looking to build on the wins over West Ham and Cardiff.
Both of those results have shown Unai Emery that his side carry a major attacking threat, with Alexandre Lacazette starring and scoring the winner in the latter fixture.
But Emery’s men are also conceding at an alarming rate, with eight goals having been shipped in their opening four games also.
St James’s Park was the scene of one of Arsenal’s most memorable fixtures in the Premier League era, with the Gunners giving up a four-goal lead in a 4-4 draw in 2011; the Spaniard will want to see his side net four on Saturday, but he certainly won’t want to conceded a similar figure.
Keep up with everything he has to say in today’s press conference, coming up shortly….
