The lines of profit don’t seem to be blurred at all, when it comes to what Robin Thicke’s hit “Blurred Lines” earned. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the popular track pulled in over $16.5 million with the money being split accordingly between Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, T.I. and the record companies. With litigation underway, Robin appears to be in the thick of a pretty serious lawsuit with the family of deceased legend Marvin Gaye. The similarities between “Blurred Lines” and Marvin’s Gaye’s song “Got to Give it Up” are uncanny to the Gaye family so all parties are now lining up for their day in court.
