Why The Switch Version Of Yooka-Laylee Is Taking So Long

This is, unfortunately, the nature of game development. The team was apparently already dealing with some last-minute issues with the Switch build of the game and expected the arrival of Unity 5.6 to help them squash those bugs. Once Unity 5.6 arrived, though, whole new problems surfaced. So once that’s all squared away, it sounds like Playtonic will be able to get a final build of Yooka-Laylee to Nintendo in order to nail down when, exactly, it will finally launch on the Switch platform.
