John Oliver Trashes Trump's 'Vitamin D Deficient Minion' Stephen Miller (Video)
Not only is Miller reportedly in consideration to replace short-lived White House communications director Anthony ” The Mooch” Scaramucci, he helped Trump draft a new immigration bill, which would slash legal immigration levels in half and would implement criteria for citizenship such as ability to speak English, job skills and education levels.
The “Last Week Tonight” host bashed Miller’s response to CNN White House reporter Jim Acosta, who pressed Miller last week by saying, “The Statue of Liberty says, ‘Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free.’ It doesn’t say anything about speaking English or being able to be a computer programmer.” Miller fired back, “The poem that you’re referring to was added later. It’s not actually a part of the original Statue of Liberty.”
“Wait, though. Just because it wasn’t part of the original does not mean it is worthless,” Oliver said Sunday night. “Some of the best things ever made were changed partway through. Did you know, for instance, there was a time when ‘Fast and Furious‘ movies didn’t have The Rock in them? It’s true, and they sucked. That’s why they added the f-cking Rock.”
“That clearly wasn’t the greatest piece of communication from Stephen Miller, so naturally, the White House is now considering him for the communications director job, taking over from the dearly departed Mooch,” Oliver added.
Oliver then dug up a video of Miller campaigning for high school student government. “Am I the only one who is sick and tired of being told to pick up my trash when we have plenty of janitors who are paid to do it for us?” Miller said in the speech.
“Wow,” Oliver said. “He is truly one of the most revolting humans — parenthesis minions — I have ever seen.”
