Andy Cohen brought up that Jill Zarin and Frankel reconnected at Bobby’s funeral in January at the “Real Housewives of New York” reunion, and Singer didn’t miss the chance to give her opinion on why she thought Frankel really attended.
“That was a big surprise,” Cohen prompted Frankel.
“Opportunistic,” Singer muttered under her breath while smiling at Dorinda Medley.
“What I think was really bizarre ’cause I’m just jumping right in here is that you told the production crew you wanted to film it,” Singer said after Frankel’s monologue on her friendship with Zarin and what the funeral meant to her. “We all went without really wanting to film it and we didn’t even know you were filming it.”
“I got a text — “ Medley chimed in.
“Actually, we were invited by Jill and we wanted to cover the funeral,” Cohen said.
“That’s right. Yeah,” Frankel smiled.
“You never told us!” Singer interjected as Frankel told her it wasn’t her business to make any claims.
“I don’t want to be filmed at Bobby’s funeral. I find it morbid,” Medley chimed in. “Because Jill’s a good friend. I wanted to be informed so I could avoid the cameras at a funeral.”
Then Singer alleged that Frankel only “jumped out of the car” when the cameras started rolling.
“Good, I’m glad she did that because I wanted to see it,” Cohen affirmed.
Page Six reported that Bobby lost his battle with cancer on Jan. 13. His funeral was held two days later, with Frankel flying in from Aspen, Colo., to pay her respects and end her years-long feud with Jill.
