Sculpture Made From The World’s Largest Wood:
It took four years to make a sculpture out of the World’s Largest wood. And the result is magnificent!
The Chinese have a long tradition in building wooden sculptures. Over the centuries, they have been dedicated to transforming simple stems to inspire artwork. But perhaps none has become as impressive as the intricate creation of Zheng Chunhui. This time we present the magnificent work of Zheng, so you can appreciate their incredible skill and patience. You are surely going to be amazed.
This is an excerpt from “Along the River During the Qingming Festival”, a famous Chinese traditional painting dating from the twelfth century, measuring more than 5 meters long.
And this is the version developed by Zheng Chunhui wood.
The level of detail achieved by Chunhui is amazing. In this photo we appreciate the detail of a bridge.
The work was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the sculpture carved in wood world’s largest, measuring over 12 meters long, 3 meters high and 2.4 wide.
The giant sculpture is a 3D replica of the painting of the twelfth century, and portrays more than 550 people, each carved with much detail.
