(March 21st to April 19th)
Your restlessness makes other people restless and anxious too. You don’t know how to just sit back and breathe in the moment – you constantly have to be running somewhere or jetting off to some new city, and people feel like you get bored with them if you’re just sitting and talking rather than doing something extravagant.
(April 20th to May 21st)
You have an inflated sense of importance. People feel very close to you and connected to you, which often leads to you wanting too much control over other people’s decisions – instead of remembering that your job is just to support your loved ones, not run their lives.
(May 22nd to June 21st)
You’re too much of a ‘yes man.’ Your attempts to be friendly and lively can cross the line over to being fake and superficial when all you do is tell people what they want to hear, instead of trying to be genuine and truthful (even when that’s more inconvenient).
(June 22nd to July 22nd)
You hold grudges and get worked up about small things. Everybody can be sensitive, and that’s okay, but your issue is that instead of forgiving people and getting over it, you hold on to everything and never let stuff go. It’s exhausting for everyone involved, including you.
(July 23rd to August 22nd)
You think you’re the only one with good ideas, and therefore only want to listen to yourself. You certainly are creative and ambitious, but you forget that a lot of other people are creative and ambitious too. You can get overly attached to and proud of your own ideas and get lost within your own ego, which prevents you from hearing and listening to others.
(August 23rd to September 22nd)
You have to find a problem in everything. Coworkers are afraid to suggest new ways to handle a project, friends dread bringing up a potential fun trip – because everyone knows you’ll find fifteen things that could go wrong and will spend the entire trip/workday/whatever thinking about all the possibilities for error or tragedy.
(September 23rd to October 22nd)
You’re never satisfied with being exactly where you are and have a very, very bad case of Fear Of Missing Out. Whenever you’re at one bar with friends, you’re worried about who’s at the other bar. You’re afraid to commit to just one party if there are two others going on that you want to be at and be seen at too. You’re often too caught up in appearances and in trying to please everyone – which makes whoever is with you in the moment feel invisible.
(October 23rd to November 22nd)
You’re never happy with what you have – all you care about is what other people have and whether it’s better than what you have. Everything is a competition, and instead of focusing on being present and being grateful, you get overly caught up in having a better life or better friends or a better career than Persons A, B, and C.
(November 23rd to December 21st)
You want the best for yourself but you want it to come to you instead of you chasing after it. People get frustrated with you because you have so much potential, talent, and magnetism, but you don’t want to make active choices in your own life – you want other people to figure everything out for you.
(December 22nd to January 20th)
You think you’re getting ahead of the game by assuming the worst. You’ve convinced yourself that by expecting your relationship to end poorly, or for your big city move to go sour, or for that friendship not to work out, that it means you’ll prevent yourself from getting hurt. But in the end, all it means is that you’re overly pessimistic, and it can be exhausting to be around you in those moments.
(January 21st to February 18th)
You try to be so emotionally detached that it’s not only exhausting – it’s infuriating. People know that you’re a compassionate person – you care about the wellness of others and you care about important causes. But you’re so afraid of being hurt that you make exhaustive attempts to close yourself off, and anyone who is close to you in any way finds it exasperating.
(February 19th to March 20th)
Your backbone needs a lot more strengthening. You’re not a spineless person yourself – you are sensitive, strong, compassionate, and incredibly thoughtful. But your problem is that you can be easily led and will fall quickly for other people’s ideas instead of deciding things for yourself.
