Season 10 of The Big Bang Theory ended with a major cliffhanger that no one saw coming. Luckily, fans don’t have to wait until the show’s return to find out what’s in store for next season. Now that the popular CBS comedy has been officially renewed, there are hints about what’s to come in future episodes. Here’s everything we know about The Big Bang Theory‘s Season 11 so far.
1. Amy’s answer to that question isn’t a sure thing
The Season 10 finale ended on a major cliffhanger, in which Sheldon travels all the way to New Jersey in order to propose to Amy. The episode ended before we hear her answer or see how she reacts (of course!), but it’s probably safe to say she’ll say yes, right? Not so fast.
Showrunner Steve Molaro has made it clear that the proposal won’t be that cut-and-dry. After all, Sheldon was spurred to pop the question after being kissed by another woman, Ramona (Riki Lindhome). Though Amy doesn’t actually know that yet, it could make things a little more difficult moving forward.
“On paper, it makes sense that she would say yes, but it’s a little complicated,” Molaro told USA Today. “I have versions of the answer that are playing out in my head for us to talk about in the writers room. I think it’s good for a show when we pull the trigger on these momentous events even when we don’t know if we’re fully ready for it. It keeps it exciting.”
