He’s back from a tour of New Zealand and Australia for a good cause. Prince Harry was this weekend at Ascot in Berkshire, for a game of polo at the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park. He met the American actor Samuel L. Jackson, and some other VIPs present that day. An encounter that left him smiling.

A few days earlier he had gone to visit his brother and his brother’s wife – the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate – in their property Sandringham, to greet the little Princess Charlotte and her older brother, George. Prince Harry was in Berkshire on Saturday to attend a polo competition launched by the car brand Audi. The goal: raise money for his Sentebale Association, which helps children and young people of Lesotho victims of poverty and epidemics.

And, having shown its equestrian talents, galloping across the field, raising his fist at each new point scored, the little son of Elizabeth II also attended a closing ceremony, held on site in a tent set up for the occasion.

On the turf of Coworth Park, the fifth in the order of succession to the throne, mingled with a few VIPs who were invited to the show. Among them, the new star of Mad Max, Tom Hardy and the singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor and actress of Downton Abbey’s series, Joanne Froggatt. But it was with Samuel L. Jackson as the thirties have spent most of his time telling witnesses.
